"Conservation is our future. It is up to us to become a voice for our natural world
and to ensure that species survive for future generations."

As a Trustee of the Board of the Cheetah Conservation Fund, helping to save the cheetah in the wild is a cause I personally support. Please join me in this effort by running or walking in one of the Runs for the Cheetah in Chicago, Portland or Phoenix and helping raise funds to support CCF's efforts in this wonderful cause. Each and everyone of us can truly make a difference.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Run for the Cheetah is a fun and competitive event for runners/walkers and families alike to raise awareness about the endangered cheetah and to raise funds to support the Cheetah Conservation Fund's programs.

Celebrate Earth Day weekend by joining us for the sixth annual Run for the Cheetah, a fun event designed to raise awareness about the endangered cheetah and to raise funds to support the Cheetah Conservation Fund's efforts to ensure the survival of the fastest animal on Earth - the wild cheetah!!

SPECIAL GUESTS TO ATTEND THE RUN FOR THE CHEETAH

Meet Hero of the Planet & Founder of the Cheetah Conservation Fund, Dr. Laurie Marker, and Dr. Bruce Brewer from CCF in Namibia at the Run for the Cheetah. They will be talking about the latest news about the cheetahs, answering your questions and cheering runners, walkers & dashers on as they run to help save the cheetah in the wild! Also, meet Anatolian Shepherd dogs, whose brothers & sisters are working in Africa to save the cheetah. ASDI & ASDCA will be bringing out some of their dogs to highlight CCF's Livestock Guarding Dog program. And then of course, Red, from Red Robin will be out cheering on all of the dashers during the Kids Cheetah Dash!

HELP US MAKE A BIGGER DIFFERENCE NOW and consider asking 10 people to pledge $5 or $10 in support of your participation in this run. You are sure to make a cheetah purr!
(Or click here if the button doesn't work.)

Your gift will help the Cheetah Conservation Fund save the cheetah in the wild, and care for Harry (a girl) and other non-releasable cheetahs at CCF who cannot survive in the wild.

Every donation makes a difference! Please forward Phoenix’s fundraising page to your friends, or create your own page! This can be done either as a member of a TEAM you organize, as an individual participant or a supporter of CCF. You will not need to collect any funds. It is all done on-line. Simply send your link to your supporters. Please contact us if you have any questions at CCFArizona@cheetah.org.

It's easy, fast like cheetahs, and makes a difference! Thank you!

ABOUT THE CHEETAH & THE CHEETAH CONSERVATION FUND [back to top]
Dr. Laurie Marker is Founder and Executive Director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). A former Oregonian, Laurie Marker is a Time magazine "Hero for the Planet" award recipient, and is a world-renowned expert on the cheetah. CCF's mission is "to secure habitats for the long-term survival of the cheetah and their ecosystem through multidiscipline and integrated programs of conservation, research and education."

The fastest land animal on earth is also Africa's most endangered big cat. With only 12,000 wild cheetah left, the cheetah could disappear within 20 years. With your help, CCF can maintain the programs that will help the cheetah win its race for survival.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization #31-1726923 in the United States. Visit www.cheetah.org for more information.
