The Run for the Cheetah is a 5k run/walk and kids dash. It is a fun event for competitive runners/walkers and families alike to raise awareness about the endangered cheetah and to raise funds to support the Cheetah Conservation Fund’s programs.

Free admission to the Phoenix Zoo on Race Day with official Run for the Cheetah race bib.

Personal Fund Raising

The Run for the Cheetah is a fundraiser, and as such, we need your help and participation! There are 2 simple steps:

1. Show your support by making your own donation to the cause. When you register, you will get your own pledge page where you can donate.
2. Amplify your giving: send your pledge page to friends and family and ask them to sponsor your participation.

We are asking that each participant try to raise at least $50, but there are benefits to raising more!

We need your help and participation!

The Run for the Cheetah is committed to returning 100% of the pledges raised to the Cheetah Conservation Fund

PERSONAL FUND RAISING PAGE REWARDS

You will receive 1 entry per person who supports you on your Personal Fund Raising Page in our raffle with prizes valued at a minimum of $50 and the grand prize – a pair of roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines!

Winners will be drawn the day after the event and notified within a week of the Phoenix Run for the Cheetah.

Also, the Top 4 Personal Fund Raising Pages participants will be awarded a giant stuffed cheetah on Race Day!

Note: The CCF Arizona Chapter Fund Raising page is not eligible for rewards.

Age Group Awards

Framed Award Certificates will be presented to the top three Overall Male and Female Finishers in each of the 1 Mile and 5K Runs. And in the 5K – the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age brackets: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, 75-79, and over 80
